Pay Scale in Pay Matrix: Level 10 with admissible allowances as per Institute norms. The salary ranges from ₹56,100/- to ₹1,77,500/-.
IIT Kharagpur Security Officer Eligibility Criteria:
Essential Qualification & Experience:
- Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree
and
- Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant security supervisory experience in either Government or a reputed organization.
- A strong understanding of security protocols and procedures, along with the ability to handle local law enforcement and the public.
Desirable:
- Preference will be given to candidates who have served in supervisory roles in defense or paramilitary services, or those with analogous positions and possess NCC Certificate and firefighting training.
- Experience in securing residential educational campuses, familiarity with Indian Laws, and proficiency in computer skills will be advantageous. Candidates who have joined the Armed Forces through NDA need not have a Bachelor’s degree.
IIT Kharagpur Security Officer Age Limit:
Minimum age 21years to maximum age of 35 years.
