TN TRB Assistant Professor Notification 2024 is
out on 14th March 2024. Apply online through trb.tn.gov.in from 28th March 2024
to 29th April 2024. The Government of Tamil Nadu, Teachers Recruitment Board
(TN TRB) Chennai, invites online applications from eligible candidates for
direct recruitment of Assistant Professors in various disciplines in the Tamil
Nadu Collegiate Educational Service for Government Arts & Science Colleges
and Government Colleges of Education.

Qualification:-
Candidates are required to
hold a Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in a
related field from an Indian University or a recognized foreign university.
Additionally, they must have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET)
organized by the UGC or CSIR, or a similar examination such as SLET/SET.
However, individuals with a Ph.D. degree as per UGC guidelines are exempt from
the NET/SLET/SET requirement. Fluency in Tamil, the state's official language,
is also mandatory.
Selection:
Written Test (Paper I,
Paper II) - 200 Marks
Interview - 30 Marks
Exam System:-
Paper – I: [03 Hours]
Section A (Multiple choice with objective type
– including Tamil Language as a component) 50 Question of 50 Marks.
Section B (Descriptive type reflecting all

Instructions for Application:
Interested individuals who
meet the criteria are encouraged to submit their applications via the official
website of the Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) starting from the
28th of March 2024. Applicants must provide personal information, educational
background, and any other necessary details. Additionally, candidates are
required to upload a scanned copy of a recent colour passport size photograph
and signature separately. It is essential for applicants to have a valid email
address and mobile number for registration purposes, with the email address
remaining active as all future correspondence will be directed there. The
deadline for online application submission is the 29th of April 2024.
